Yanfeng Automotive Interiors (YFAI) , a global leader in automotive interiors, to analyze manufacturing processes, drive quality improvements, and ensure products meet customer specifications and safety standards.

Job Summary As a Quality Engineer, you will analyze manufacturing processes, implement process quality tools (PFMEA, Control Plans), facilitate problem‑solving teams, and maintain the quality system in compliance with YFAI Business Operating System (BOS). You will serve as the primary contact with customer/supplier representatives, support audits, and respond to customer discrepancy notices.

Responsibilities

Support PFMEA reviews and maintain Control Plans for assigned workflows.

Primary contact with customer/supplier representatives; attend meetings, audits, and reviews.

Perform root‑cause analysis of technical problems and verify corrective actions.

Facilitate problem‑solving teams and respond to customer discrepancy notices.

Verify corrective actions and prepare customer correspondence related to quality concerns.

Participate in internal and external quality audits; report quality issues, trends, and losses to management.

Participate in workgroups (e.g., FMEA, PSMC) and establish process controls.

Assist in training new projects and buy‑off new/modified equipment and processes.

Support quality/dimensional control systems (X&R charts, gage studies, Six Sigma, dimensional capability studies).

Strong working knowledge of APQP tools (Process Flow, PFMEA, Control Plan, PPAP, MSA, SPC).

Ensure compliance with company policies, EHS, product safety, and information security requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent work experience.

1–3 years of experience in Quality, Engineering CI, or similar automotive related function.

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Knowledge of PPAP and APQP processes.

Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Experience working directly with customers and suppliers within the automotive industry is highly desirable.

Understanding of quality functions such as metrology, design of experiments, and quality analysis techniques.
