This position oversees the MV-22 Tiltrotor Aircraft Maintenance Program and serves as the primary point of contact with the customer for all AAR support related to maintenance support to VMMT-204. The Program Manager is responsible for managing all administrative and management functions necessary for the safe, efficient, and effective operation of the program. Responsibilities include:
Managing a team supporting critical military missions related to the MV-22 Tiltrotor Aircraft Maintenance Program. Possessing technical knowledge of aircraft maintenance to communicate effectively with operators and maintainers about aircraft systems and functions. Ensuring proper maintenance and calibration of support equipment. Managing supply chain coordination to ensure parts and materials are available and processed according to government procedures. Performing other duties as assigned. Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent. At least 15 years of military aviation maintenance experience, preferably with US Navy or US Marine Corps Fleet Replacement Squadron (FRS) or operational tactical aircraft squadron, specifically with CV/MV-22 squadrons. Minimum 5 years of military aviation maintenance control or quality control experience. Ability to coordinate daily with the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) regarding disparities. Experience developing and maintaining contractor schedules and identifying qualification gaps. Willingness to travel as required to the corporate offices in Wood Dale, Illinois, and as directed by the customer. Critical Success Factors in Year One:
Supervising responsibilities including hiring, training, performance appraisal, and discipline. Leading a team of up to 70 personnel supporting aircraft maintenance, supply chain, support equipment, and administrative functions. Coordinating with the COR for contract execution. Recommending team structure improvements. Benefits:
