Overview
Chemical Sales Account Manager - Personal Care Raw Materials Base salary $95,000-$125,000. Commission eligible. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, paid time off. Onsite presence is required when not traveling for business. Responsibilities
Expand the segment through sales growth, new business opportunities, and product launches. Implement and execute both short- and long-term strategic business plans, while staying ahead of market trends and serving as a source of customer insight and competitive intelligence. Build and manage strong relationships with external industry partners to enhance product positioning and identify opportunities for new product development. Develop and carry out account strategies, including key account plans and demand generation initiatives. Lead and maintain relationships with major accounts, developers, consultants, and trade associations, while supporting promotional activities and stakeholder engagement on large projects and regulatory specifications. Utilize Salesforce to track and manage a strong pipeline of opportunities, ensuring continuous growth. Stay proactive in understanding customer needs in a competitive environment, collaborating with global marketing, product management, and technology teams to support new product launches. Provide accurate sales forecasting aligned with operating plans and growth objectives. Perform additional responsibilities as assigned. Travel
Up to 50% travel, depending on business needs. Onsite work is required when not traveling. Qualifications
Required: Bachelor’s degree or higher. Minimum of 3 years of sales experience within the personal care sector, ideally with exposure to chemical raw materials. Demonstrated history of achieving and exceeding sales goals with a consistent record of success. Preferred: Proven experience in distribution management, key account development, and managing relationships with multinational companies. Background in developing and executing both annual and long-term business strategies, including market analysis, share growth initiatives, and delivering measurable profit and expansion results.
