In this role, you’ll be testing samples of concrete, asphalt, aggregate, and related materials to ensure high-quality products meet specifications and standards. Your quality control expertise will help ensure consistent, reliable results and contribute to building sustainable, safe communities. If you’re detail-oriented and experienced in concrete, asphalt, and aggregate testing and enjoy both independent and team-based work, this role is for you. You’ll bring analytical skills, a high standard of ethics, and the motivation to support our growing team. Location: Santa Rosa, CA. Must be willing to travel to various site locations in the North Bay Area as needed for testing our products. Wage: $40-$55/hr DOE with potential for overtime. Shift: Typically M–F, 8–10 hours per day with occasional weekends, as needed. Minimum Qualifications

3-10 years of experience in concrete, asphalt and aggregate testing Demonstrated proficiency in field and lab testing procedures for concrete, asphalt and aggregates Current Caltrans JTCP certifications (HMA I, HMA II, Soils & Agg) Strong math and analytical skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office and other PC programs Strong communication skills with internal teams and external customers Safety-oriented professional with reliable performance and attendance Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed Must pass physical exam and pre-employment controlled substance testing Current U.S. Authorization to work or ability to obtain without company assistance prior to start date Valid driver’s license Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)

Collect samples from asphalt and aggregate plants or construction sites Perform tests on construction materials including aggregates, asphalt, concrete, soils, and water; calculate test data Perform testing and laboratory analysis of gradation, sand equivalent, binder ignitions, specific gravity, density, and other required tests Operate materials testing equipment in the field and the lab Accurately record, analyze, and enter test results into computer systems Communicate test results promptly to supervisors, plant staff, and customers as appropriate Identify material inconsistencies and work collaboratively to implement solutions Assist with plant quality control to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards Support production teams with material optimization and performance improvement efforts Travel to and from various sites as needed Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment while following all safety protocols Perform general maintenance duties as assigned Promote and participate in an inclusive work environment Benefits
