This position will involve analysis, design and inspection of highway, rail and pedestrian bridges and associated structures. We have an immediate need for a Structural Bridge Engineer to join our Transportation Team located in our Charlotte, NC office. This position will involve analysis, design and inspection of highway, rail and pedestrian bridges and associated structures. Responsibilities Include
Work as an integral part of the Bridge Practice in our NC office. Provide analysis, design and inspection of bridges and related structures. Support structural design on selected projects and lead assigned tasks as appropriate. Provide leadership and direction by mentoring and motivating junior staff. Proactively drive safety and ensure that health and safety practices are maintained. Assist in maintaining quality of project deliverables produced by the Bridge Group.
Qualifications Include
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering; Master’s degree preferred, but not required. Minimum of 4 years of progressive design experience on structural engineering projects. NC Professional Engineer (PE) license. Solid structural analysis and design skills with an understanding of related engineering disciplines needed to complete transportation and infrastructure projects. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to form effective relationships with staff and clients.
Compensation Range
$68,554.21 - $91,405.62
