The Production Manager is accountable for leading transformational change in culture, will build capability throughout the plant team to ensure the sustainable performance and growth of the site through capacity, resource and talent planning in close partnership with relevant functional leaders. Key responsibilities

Recruit and select the right team members, induct new members into the team, and build team skills through skills assessment, training, feedback, etc. Develop and implement a production stream strategy to meet the goals of the site and business strategy. Manage and own total cost of conversion in the Production Stream, focusing on systems & operational activity standardization and improvement. Continuously improve standards set by facilitating and executing appropriate KPS Methodologies such as 8 Step Practical Problem Solving within the production stream. Coach 8 Step PPS & conduct periodic assessments to ensure the 8 Step PPS process is being followed. Check that standards set within the production stream are adhered to through layered confirmation. Manage the availability of labor against the plan and work with General Manager and other site-based production streams to optimize labor across the site. Monitor & improve OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) through implementation of Kerry Asset Management System (KAMS). Identify bottlenecks within the process, report and conduct problem solving with relevant production stream team members. Demonstrate a firm command of technology deployed and end-use applications. Understand HACCP, ISO, FSAI & Kerry QSHE standards, and Systems. Possess relevant scientific knowledge & experience of food & processing technologies. Have a technical understanding of cost levers & drivers. Analyze & report conversion performance metrics. Address quality, technical, health & safety, and environmental issue resolution & support. Qualifications and skills

+ 5 years of progressive experience in manufacturing and plant operations. BS/MS in Engineering, Business, or Food Science. Demonstrated success as a change agent & developing/implementing continuous improvement initiatives and accountability programs. Demonstrated success assessing, developing, and retaining top talent. Proven ability to drive process improvements, adhere to budgets, and maintain regulatory compliance. Financial analysis acumen and experience maintaining budgets or capital spend. Proven ability to lead with the following key competencies: Strategic Thinking, Managing Change, Critical Thinking, Continuous Cost Focus, Technical Expertise, Influence, and Delivery of Sustainable Results.
