This role is part of the Civil Team in our Water Market. You will be involved in projects that include site layout design, surface modeling, grading and drainage, earthwork calculations, roadway and parking design, utility design, embankment and channel design and modeling, and development of hydrologic and hydraulic models. You will have opportunities to work on plans, reports and specifications for a wide range of differing projects. Some field work and travel may be required. Responsibilities
Contribute to plans, reports, and specifications for civil engineering projects within the Water Market. Support site layout, grading and drainage, earthwork calculations, roadway and parking design, utility design, embankment and channel design and modeling, and hydrologic/hydraulic modeling. Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver project tasks and meet client expectations. Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university 0-4 years of experience Must possess a state Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification (Fundamentals of Engineering examination) or be able to obtain within 6 months of hire Knowledge of civil engineering including site, grading and earthwork, surface water management and stormwater detention, and infrastructure and utility design Strong oral and technical writing skills Ability to work in a team environment with multiple disciplines Preferred Qualifications
Working knowledge and experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D and/or MicroStation and OpenRoads products Knowledge of hydrology and hydraulics modeling programs, Excel, Word, and GIS applications Experience in permitting and compliance with Federal, State and local government policy and procedures Salary and Transparency
Salary range for MN location The starting salary for the successful candidate is competitive and will be determined by qualifications and experience, geographic location, internal equity, company policy and practices. In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are disclosed where required. Work Flexibility
Stanley’s Approach to Flexibility: Some members work onsite full-time, while others have hybrid schedules. Eligible roles may offer two days in the office, two days remote, and a flexible Friday. A 9/80 work schedule may apply, with every other Friday off for participating members. What we offer
