What You Will Do As a Graduate Engineer, you will

Assist in the design and coordination of roadway projects for government agencies such as City, County and State DOT

Perform design calculations, quantity, and cost estimates, develop design specifications, alignment and profile design, and plan preparation

Learn the industry by attending client meetings and taking meeting minutes

What You Will Bring

A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or similar degree from an accredited school

Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam and registration as an Engineer‑in‑Training (EIT) is a condition of employment and must be achieved at the time of hire or within six (6) months of the start date to maintain employment

1–4 years of experience in Transportation engineering or related field is preferred

Ability to prepare, read, and understand construction plans and technical documents; functional understanding of design software packages, specifically MS Excel, MS Word and preferably MicroStation

Valid driver’s license with a good driving record; excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic
