This facility is designed to maximize space with vertical production and packaging lines. As an Electrical Project Engineer, you will oversee both large and small scale electrical projects, focusing on the new and existing product lines. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a team driving a 140% growth rate from current production capacity.
Responsibilities
Manage and execute electrical projects with a focus on medium to low voltage electrical system infrastructure. Support the design and technical evaluation of third-party engineering designs and bids. Upgrade old and obsolete electrical substations based on audit recommendations. Collaborate with production floor teams and other engineers to gain insights and feedback on design. Work cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders, including Director and VP-level personnel. Drive capital expenditure projects, preparing proposals and issuing purchase orders to contractors. Support the company's sustainability goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2030.
Essential Skills
Minimum 5 years of electrical engineering experience, focusing on power distribution systems and medium voltage. Strong understanding of national and state electrical codes, including NFPA 70A and 70B. Proven project management experience, ideally in the $1-10M range, with the ability to drive capital projects. Ability to read and understand electrical schematic drawings.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with automation, batch servers, and HMI is beneficial. Knowledge of HVAC, boilers, and utility systems is a plus. Experience in a 24/7 manufacturing environment or consulting engineering industry.
Work Environment
This role will involve time spent in both production facilities and an office cubicle environment. You will work collaboratively with a large team, including permanent staff and outsourced hires, in a fast-paced and growing facility.
Located on Site in Jefferson City, MO, Relocation Assistance available as needed.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $65.00/hr.
