This is a Hybrid position where you’ll work from both the office and home to meet project delivery goals while maintaining balance. You’ll join a global remediation technology team and support sediment environmental remediation design for federal and private sector clients. You will primarily work in an office setting, with some time in the field to support or oversee data collection and design activities. Safety and environmental compliance are priorities, and you’ll contribute to operational excellence. Location: United States (preference toward the West or Midwest) Base pay range: $73,500.00/yr - $111,100.00/yr Responsibilities

Apply technical experience in sediment environmental remediation design with support from the global remediation technology team. Evaluate site conditions, determine data needs, assess remedial alternatives, perform engineering calculations, and develop designs. Prepare work plans, reports, and design documents, including design specifications, using strong technical writing skills. Collaborate with other scientists, engineers, subject matter experts, and project managers on nationwide projects. Take ownership of assigned tasks under the direction of Design Managers and discipline leads. Engage in field activities as needed to support or oversee data collection and design data gathering. Maintain high standards of Health & Safety and Environmental Compliance in all work. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Civil, or Geotechnical Engineering or related field. Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification. Minimum of 4 years of on-the-job experience in environmental remediation with project examples. Minimum of 2 years designing sediment dredging and/or environmental remedial actions with project examples. Experience with site civil design and 3-D modeling (e.g., dredge prisms, roadways, grading, drainage) using AutoCAD Civil 3D. Experience writing specifications, basis of design reports, and design drawings. Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to work remotely with nationwide teams. Location within the United States. Preferred or Additional

Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or ability to obtain and maintain. Experience leading environmental field work, understanding methodologies and procedures, and OSHA HAZWOPER certification (40-hr). Experience overseeing subcontractors/third-party construction contractors on active project sites. Strong organizational skills and ability to document design decisions and action items.
