TS/SCI Position Overview and Responsibilities
Alutiiq Logistics and Maintenance Services, LLC is seeking a Fire Alarm System Mechanic responsible for installation, maintenance, repair, and inspection of fire alarm systems in accordance with manufacturer specifications and NFPA standards. Responsibilities include: Perform routine maintenance and inspections Test and replace faulty components Inspect and replace fire alarm equipment Check pressure gauges and recharge containers Ensure proper installation of wiring and components Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues Repair or replace defective parts Conduct regular inspections for compliance Maintain accurate records and prepare reports Respond promptly to emergency service orders Perform other assigned duties Qualifications and Experience
Required: High school diploma or GED Technical training or certification in fire alarm systems preferred Certification per UFC 3-601-02 and licensing in Washington DC Experience with various fire alarm brands and models a plus Valid driver's license U.S. citizenship; TS/SCI clearance preferred, minimum TS clearance required Skills: Strong understanding of fire alarm systems Excellent troubleshooting skills Ability to interpret technical drawings Independent work capability Good communication skills
