Associates degree or equivalent experience with 2-5 years of related experience Ability to perform basic maintenance and advanced electrician duties Understanding of solid state circuitry and systems at 110V, 220V, 440V, and 480V Skill in bending and sizing conduit, starters, frequency drives, fuses, and motor wires based on specifications Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, diagnosing programmable controller issues, and using electrical testing and machining equipment Ability to interpret safety documents, operating instructions, and manuals Intermediate knowledge of Arc Flash safety Capability to complete work orders and document work electronically Basic math skills in all units of measure Valid forklift license (or ability to obtain one) Physical ability to lift up to 90 lbs. Responsibilities:

Perform repairs, adjustments, and installations of plant equipment using various power tools Assist in diagnosing electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and other issues, applying appropriate solutions Read and interpret schematic diagrams and drawings Support major repairs and construction related to electrical systems in the plant Perform preventative electrical maintenance, including replacing parts and repairing cords and motors Run conduit and pull electrical wires for new and used equipment; replace starters, relays, switches, and fuses; replace disconnects as needed Carry out advanced electrician duties, such as troubleshooting control wiring and checking motor systems with appropriate tools Set up metal detectors and participate in trade skill training Train maintenance staff to keep equipment in optimal condition Work safely, maintaining a clean and organized work area; use PPE including bump caps, safety glasses, ear plugs, hair/beard nets, gloves, and safety shoes or boots Schwan's Company subsidiaries are Equal Employment Opportunity Employers.
