The Field Project Completion Manager is responsible for ensuring flawless delivery, field re-assembly, and commissioning of Enerflex equipment for customers through the coordination and planning with a cross-functional team, including manufacturing, quality, engineering, shipping, AMS, and our clients. This role involves frequent travel to field installation sites to witness, inspect, and verify the receipt and reassembly of all material and equipment. The position plays a key role in quality assurance, continuous improvement, and cross-functional communication to ensure all components are delivered and installed to the highest standards in accordance with customer expectations. Summary

The Field Project Completion Manager is responsible for ensuring flawless delivery, field re-assembly, and commissioning of Enerflex equipment for customers through the coordination and planning with a cross-functional team, including manufacturing, quality, engineering, shipping, AMS, and our clients. This role involves frequent travel to field installation sites to witness, inspect, and verify the receipt and reassembly of all material and equipment. The position plays a key role in quality assurance, continuous improvement, and cross-functional communication to ensure all components are delivered and installed to the highest standards in accordance with customer expectations.

Principle Responsibilities and Duties

Travel to installation sites to verify and inspect packaging crates for accuracy, completeness, condition, and compliance with Enerflex shipping standards and requirements. Conduct detailed inspections of equipment and materials to ensure quality and completeness. Verify that all required components for reassembly and commissioning are present and in perfect condition. Witness and provide support during the receiving and reassembly process of equipment in installation sites. Serve as liaison between site operations (customer, mechanical contractors, and AMS team) and manufacturing to expedite the resolution of issues found at site. Collect and analyze data related to equipment delivery, handling, and installation. Communicate findings and improvement opportunities to leadership, shop personnel, project engineering, project management, shipping, and operations assembly departments. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product delivery and customer satisfaction. Maintain accurate records and documentation of inspections, findings, and project milestones.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Project Management, or a related technical field preferred; equivalent experience considered. Minimum 10 years of experience in equipment inspection, project coordination, and quality assurance, in the gas processing and compression sector. Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of equipment assembly processes. Ability to read and interpret drawings. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and project tracking tools. Ability to travel up to 80% and work independently in field environments.

Physical Requirements

Office Work: Includes computer-based tasks, meetings, and reporting in a standard office environment. Shop Work: Requires use of PPE including safety toe footwear, hard hat, safety glasses, and ear protection. Field Work: Involves frequent (up to 80%) travel to customer sites, use of PPE requirements per site and customer requirements; may include exposure to outdoor elements, industrial noise, and physically demanding environments. Must be able to stand, walk, and perform inspections for extended periods.
