The Judge Group is seeking a Controls Engineer for a global manufacturing group located in Sioux City, IA. Compensation:
100k plus bonus Relocation:
Provided for the right candidate MUST HAVE:
A US Citizen or Green Card Holder (No exceptions) MUST HAVE:
AS/BS in Engineering (Preferred: EE, CE, ME) MUST HAVE:
2+ years of Automation / Instrumentation experience in a manufacturing environment (preferably in food or pharma) MUST HAVE:
Ability to travel as needed (about 20%) Responsibilities
Work on automation and process engineering projects and challenges Participate in capital projects and process improvement projects Manage engineering projects Collaborate with operations personnel on automation and process issues Maintain automation database management Oversee automation systems (PLC’s, HMI, Clients (Thick & Thin), Networks, UPS, etc.) Develop process control integration projects Program and test PLC and HMI-based control systems Run acceptance testing procedures Perform root cause analysis Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) and participate in the rotating on-call system for 24/7/365 coverage Requirements
