Position Details STV has openings in Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Douglassville, Harrisburg, PA, Newark, or Lawrenceville, NJ for a
Highway Engineering Specialist
in our Transportation Division.
The successful candidate will have experience with highway design aspects such as geometrics, roadway modeling, cross section development, traffic control, signing, pavement marking, utility coordination, and right-of-way plan development. Responsibilities include designing all phases of highway plan development from inception to construction.
This role offers growth opportunities, client relationship building, and geographic service expansion, all while promoting a healthy work-life balance.
The specialist will collaborate with transportation agencies throughout PA and/or NJ.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
FE exam completion (EIT certification) preferred
0-5 years highway design experience
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Experience with PennDOT, Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission, NJDOT, NJ Turnpike Authority, and other agencies
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, OpenRoads, MicroStation, InRoads; AutoTAB and PennDOT’s ECMS are a plus
Active participation in client service teams for proposal and business development
Compensation $52,906 - $70,541 annually.
