Quality Engineer Responsibilities

Develop and implement standard operational and administrative procedures and quality control systems.

Support new product and process introductions to ensure robustness and quality.

Monitor and analyze quality performance of internal and external vendors and processes using tools such as SAP, Excel, and Power BI.

Investigate recurring quality issues and implement actions to eliminate future occurrences while ensuring effectiveness of improvements.

Conduct product and process audits.

Manage supplier relationships: conduct meetings, monitor activities and progress, and produce reports and presentations as needed.

Perform root‑cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions; inspect materials in accordance with drawings and standards.

Ensure compliance with the Quality Management System (ISO 9001) and promote continuous improvement techniques such as Six Sigma and Poka‑Yoke.

Analyze data according to Six Sigma standards and stay current with emerging technologies such as AI.

Experience • Ability to read and interpret drawings, including GD&T. • Experience with measuring equipment and inspection techniques. • Strong communication, interpersonal skills, attention to detail, organizational ability, and analytical problem‑solving in a fast‑paced environment. • Excellent project management skills. • Independent and team‑oriented, assertive, resilient, and open to change.

Education • Degree in quality, industrial, or mechanical engineering OR 4+ years of relevant experience in a similar role. • ASQ certification preferred. • Six Sigma/Lean Manufacturing skills required.
