is a 100% employee-owned firm and we have an opportunity available for a Structural Designer to join our team and work collaboratively across our firm. As a Designer, you will be an
ISG Employee Owner
working collaboratively with your fellow employee owners to develop creative solutions. In this role, you will work closely with
Randy Potter , Director of Production Operations, along with the Structural Engineering team. You will also collaborate with ISG internal resources for design and project coordination, project execution, structural engineers, and construction administrators. Employee owners of all levels are involved in every aspect of design from conceptual design through construction. If this sounds exciting to you, keep reading! Here are a few recent projects: Cambria, Le Sueur, MN Tralo Companies, Owatonna, MN Cherapa, Sioux Falls, SD ESSENTIAL DUTIES Contribute to the development and implementation of structural engineering design Prepare drawings, documents, details, schedules, or specifications using programs such as Revit Interface with other ISG team members in a positive and professional manner Work closely on construction plans with internal structural engineers, architects, and other engineering professionals Work collaboratively with multi-discipline engineering teams and project managers Field measure and document existing buildings Produce and coordinate construction drawings with other disciplines QUALIFICATIONS Candidate should have a minimum of an Associate's Drafting Degree, preferred 1-2 years of working experience in a design firm, with project experience working in Autodesk Revit, preferred Ability to travel to various job sites and office locations Strong communication, organization, analytical, and interpersonal skills Self-directed, organized, multi-tasker and can work independently with minimal supervision ABOUT ISG We are 100% owned by our employees!
