is seeking a qualified
Field Technician
for service and repair of light industrial equipment in the Atlanta, GA area. Equipment includes floor scrubbers, sweepers, handicapped carts, checkout lanes, paint shakers, and other commercial customer equipment found in large retail and industrial locations. Technicians will also install and service grease containment units used with deep fryers. This position utilizes a company vehicle regionally and requires a valid, good standing driver’s license. The position is primarily Monday-Friday, averaging 40 hours a week. Vehicle, laptop, cell phone, and PAID TRAINING are provided. Starting Pay Range: $25-$30 Technicians' Typical Duties, Tasks, and Responsibilities:
Strong mechanical aptitude to diagnose, repair, and complete service calls and scheduled PMs on light industrial equipment. Provide customer service by performing preventative maintenance and repairs on customer equipment. Visually inspect, test, and listen to machines to locate malfunctions; dismantle parts to detect wear or misalignment. Install new or repaired parts; clean and lubricate machinery components. Organize repairs and PMs in similar locations; record-keeping and reporting of work orders, parts, supplies, and daily agenda. Submit daily work orders, timecards, parts orders, and all required paperwork. Treat company equipment with care and follow PM guidelines for the company vehicle. Additional Information:
Travel up to an average of 300 miles per day. Regularly lift/move 10-50 pounds; frequently lift/move up to 100 pounds. Exposure to moving parts, electrical hazards, fumes, airborne particles, and chemicals. Work primarily Monday-Friday; weekends and after-hours work possible with emergency rates. On-call ends at 11 am EST on weekends and holidays. Maintain safety and security procedures; report unsafe conditions. Dependability, excellent attendance, timely responses, and responsible use of company equipment are required. Benefits Starting Day One:
