The Company's Exhaust Aftertreatment Systems (EATS) team is seeking an engineer in the field of On Board Diagnostics (OBD) calibration and development. S/he should be prepared to work in a challenging and fast-paced environment, gaining experience and knowledge in various aspects of engineering.
Responsibilities in our group will include:
Testing - Operate world-class heavy-duty engine dynamometer test cellsTake responsibility of efficiently and accurately executing test procedures while concurrently reviewing test results to ensure reliability of data
Dataset function owner - Calibrate on-board diagnostic functionality pertaining to the aftertreatment system catalysts, filter, sensors, and other technologiesVerify OBD monitor performance and robustness through data analysis from trucks, test cells, and other sourcesPlan, conduct, and interpret results from development and verification testingInnovate OBD algorithms and concepts with respect to future CARB and EPA requirementsPerform calculations by applying the latest analytical methods in support of monitor testing and designIssue written and oral reportsWill report to the Group Manager of the Aftertreatment engineering team.
Experience from 2 to 5 years in the area of Engine or aftertreatment calibration is required.
Listed salary ranges may vary based on experience, qualifications, and local market. Also, some positions may include bonuses or other incentives.
