Purpose Statement Manages all plant units responsible for maintaining the plant's equipment, buildings, and facilities. Leads the PM Pillar through standard processes, methodologies, capability building, and tools. Responsible for the growth and maturity of PM work systems. Provides technical expertise in maintenance, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic engineering. Develops and implements short-term and mid-term business plans for the department and assists in strategic planning for the plant.
Key Responsibilities
Supports TPM processes and leads the Planned Maintenance Pillar, setting goals and improving work systems.
Plans and manages maintenance teams to optimize efficiency; ensures effective use of CMMS.
Develops and communicates short- and mid-term business plans, aligning with broader company goals.
Develops training programs, mentors staff, and manages performance standards.
Analyzes mechanical and operational problems, oversees root cause analysis, and implements corrective actions.
Focuses on extending equipment life through preventive and predictive maintenance.
Develops operational reports, analyzes delays, and improves equipment effectiveness.
Maintains plant facilities in compliance with regulations and standards, manages expenses.
Handles financial aspects of maintenance services and capital equipment procurement.
Prepares bids, approves purchases, and manages relationships with contractors and vendors.
May oversee plant safety programs and safety inspections.
Manages storeroom supplies and parts inventory, ensuring accuracy.
Supports technology implementations and stays updated on manufacturing systems.
Performs additional duties as needed to support business objectives.
Qualifications
BA/BS in Engineering or related field, HVAC licensing preferred.
5+ years supervisory experience in manufacturing, with knowledge of refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, mechanical systems, and automation.
Experience with TPM manufacturing environments preferred.
Knowledge of safety management, GMPs, HACCP, and FDA regulations.
Proven ability to lead, train, and analyze problems effectively.
Mechanical aptitude and proficiency with Excel, Teams, and Outlook.
Compensation Range: $103,620.74 - $155,431.11, based on experience and other factors.
