Adjunct Faculty Pool - Logistics and Supply Chain Management at Cleveland State Community College. This posting is for an adjunct faculty pool to be considered for future openings. The department seeks instructors who can provide quality instruction and maintain a positive learning environment. The position involves teaching in a variety of formats and locations, including online, communicating with students between classes, and handling administrative duties such as reporting academic activity and submitting final grades. Duties and Responsibilities

Planning and teaching classes as assigned and as outlined in the course descriptions, syllabi, and departmental guidelines. Beginning and ending all classes as scheduled and covering all relevant learning outcomes for each course. Maintaining academic standards and classroom behavior to ensure a conducive learning environment; communicating with students weekly and answering student emails in a timely manner. Evaluating students using a variety of methods and informing each student of scores in a timely manner. Using Cleveland State email for administrative purposes and responding to student questions via email promptly. Meeting deadlines for administrative requests such as submitting personnel paperwork, acknowledging contracts, academic activity and assessment reports, and final grades. Submitting requests through the department chair, program coordinator/director, or lead teacher for equipment, supplies, textbooks, and other instructional aids. Qualifications

Master’s degree or higher in a qualifying field, or a Master’s degree or higher with 18 graduate semester hours in qualifying fields, or a Bachelor’s degree in a qualifying field with two or more of the following: Documentation of professional certification (national, regional or state) Documentation of professional employment Documentation of teaching excellence Qualifying fields include Business, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Law, Marketing, Management, Statistics, Economics, Logistics/Transportation Management, Supply Chain Management, Global Management, or other related majors.
