We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Project Manager to join our top-ranked ENR General Contractor team. This is a permanent position that requires a deep understanding of the construction industry and its commercial projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex projects from inception to completion, with a strong emphasis on budgeting, contract negotiation, team leadership, cost control, procurement, and estimating. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a team of dedicated professionals and play a key role in the successful delivery of commercial construction projects. Responsibilities
Oversee and manage all aspects of commercial construction projects from initiation to completion. Develop comprehensive project plans, coordinate with various teams and stakeholders, and ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget. Lead contract negotiations with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to secure the best possible terms. Develop and manage project budgets, including cost control measures to ensure project profitability. Provide leadership and direction to project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment. Oversee procurement processes, ensuring that all materials and services are procured on time and within budget. Prepare detailed project estimates and proposals, and present them to clients and stakeholders. Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement effective solutions to mitigate them. Maintain clear and accurate documentation of all project activities and progress. Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, specifically in commercial construction. Proven expertise in budgeting, contract negotiation, team leadership, cost control, procurement, and estimating. Strong leadership skills, with a track record of managing high-performing teams. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Proficient in project management software and tools. Strong problem-solving skills, with an ability to anticipate and mitigate project risks. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. Strong attention to detail and commitment to project excellence.
