The Specialist, Procurement core responsibility is to serve as a resource to the sales team and the company with dedicated focus on the procurement, purchasing and receiving of hardware and software for Logically’s customers as well as the processing and handling of client owned inventory. This individual interacts with suppliers to obtain favorable pricing terms, product specifications, monitor availability, and optimize savings. This role expedites delayed orders and resolves issues with changes, returns, replacements, and credit arrangements. The Procurement Specialist coordinates with internal teams to ensure that procurement needs are met promptly and efficiently. This role is onsite at our Danbury, CT office. Job Duties & Responsibilities

Ensure the accurate and timely ordering of hardware and software in support of Logically’s managed services goals Order technical equipment and software licensing for internal departments purchasing equipment necessary to provide superior managed services Order office supplies and approved snacks for office personnel Coordinate with internal teams to anticipate purchasing needs, including general inventory considerations Collaborate with internal departments (Finance, Operations, and Inventory Manager) to align procurement activities with business objectives Review orders for quantity, specifications, delivery requirements, and compliance with established policies and procedures Execute purchase order (PO) for the product following vendor contracts and company policies Process renewals for existing software licenses and maintenance agreements on equipment Collaborate with the Quoting department by ensuring sales-related information is added into our ConnectWise system Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements in the procurement function Ensure fulfillment of PO through physical reconciliation in ConnectWise of shipped items to vendor packing list/invoice Inspect all deliveries for damage and accuracy Proactively identify organizational purchasing trends to support the procurement team’s ongoing development and improvement Collaborate with internal/external associates to ensure timely support and resolution on any account inquiries Create and document internal processes and procedures related to duties and responsibilities Qualifications

Associate’s degree in supply chain, business, or related area are a plus but equivalent work experience will also be considered 1-3 or more years of experience in procurement activities Experience in Software as a Service, IT Hardware, Cloud Services, or Professional Services is a plus Basic knowledge of ConnectWise or other similar systems is preferred Experience in Microsoft Suite is preferred Ability to work in a team environment and demonstrate time management skills as well as verbal and written communication skills Business acumen; translating business requirements into related solutions Flexible and able to remain calm in times of stress while managing multiple priorities at one time Sound problem-solving technique with ability and persistence to generate options and select the best solution Ability to build relationships based on trust to enable collaboration and cooperation amongst team members and internal/external stakeholders Ability to communicate effectively with customers and various levels of management both verbally and in written form Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Team player mentality and willingness to share knowledge with others Must be able to lift equipment up to 35 lbs.
