Job Summary Manager I (226 Days) – Dallas Independent School District Full-time – 226 Days – Alternative Certification – October 15, 2025

Responsibilities

Effectively support and manage Field Experience Facilitators to ensure they meet their goals in preparing effective alternative certification teachers.

Lead the development and implementation of a redesigned teacher training program to ensure that all candidates become highly effective teachers.

Create and oversee all aspects of department training including content test preparation, video based classroom observations, pre service training syllabus, and in-service training.

Seek out professional development to build staff capacity.

Remain abreast of all state requirements aligned to alternative certification preparation.

Assist with all Federal yearly reporting with Federal Title II and yearly TEA ASEP Reporting on program's data accuracy.

Maintain accurate communication with internal and external district stakeholders.

Ensure all candidates records are updated with required state evidence in all phases of the program.

Monitor and analyze program data to identify trends, address issues, and adjust implementation efforts as needed.

Qualifications

Master's Degree from an accredited university required.

Texas standard Principal Certificate or Mid-Management Certificate required.

5+ direct years of experience in education required.

2+ supervisory years of experience in education required.
