THE OPPORTUNITY Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies is recruiting for a Manager, IM R &D Procurement Agile , for our J&J Innovative Medicine Research & Development Procurement team! The position can be located in Beerse, Belgium; Titusville, NJ; Spring House, PA; or Raritan, NJ. Are you passionate about providing better outcomes for patients? How YOU can help: This role is accountable for two primary objectives: Ensuring that the Procurement organization delivers results in support of the IM R&D strategy and objectives. The role works directly with the business, category leaders, and the broader function. Contributing to and leading the operational execution of prioritized category strategy implementations, complex business projects, and other critical functional activities. The key responsibilities & the impact YOU will have: Understand the IM R&D priorities and partner with Procurement Category Leaders to devise strategies that advance those priorities Collaborate with the business to ensure Procurement strategies meet their needs, and that they are adopted. Identify industry trends that Procurement must incorporate in its category strategies to ensure sustainable relevance to the business Lead strategic sourcing events and negotiations Deliver against performance targets for the IM Procurement organization in the role’s areas of responsibility and ensure target achievement IT’S ALL ABOUT YOU We would love to hear from YOU, if you have: Education: A Bachelor’s degree is required An MBA or further advance degree is preferred Experience and Skills: Required: Minimum 5 years related experience is required Strong business acumen - Understanding challenges through the eyes of business leaders Influencing skills - Able to persuade others to change behavior in pursuit of a common goal Strong leadership and collaboration skills at the senior executive level, as well as with peers Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to confidently present complex information to senior executives Broad-based understanding of core procurement areas of focus including spend management, source-to-pay Strong project and change management capabilities Proven learning agility, improving both yourself and the people around you Preferred experience in Life Sciences, Med Technology or Supply Chain Demonstrated agile behaviors High level of credibility with internal customers, and with the supplier community, based on broad experience Proven track record in cross-functional teams and implementing significant change programs Multi-category experience with experience across geographies of varied sizes and businesses Flexibility and willingness to respond to changes in the external environment Closing date for all applications: Friday, 6th of June 2025.
