Position Description A key member of the National Training Center (NTC) team, the Senior Manager, Facility Operations will support the Director of Facility Operations in establishing and running all operational aspects of the new facility once handed over. This role focuses on developing and implementing SOPs and policies, ensuring the facility functions day-to-day, and coordinating with internal groups to support programming, events, and staff needs. The Senior Manager will play a critical role in the handoff from construction to operations, ensuring warranties, systems, and services are properly logged and transitioned, and then driving ongoing management of the NTC’s physical environment to world-class standards. Primary Responsibilities

Operational Handoff & Readiness: Lead the operational side of the handoff from construction to live operations (documentation, warranties, service contracts, asset tagging, manuals). Ensure all building systems and equipment are understood, logged, and integrated into daily operations. Support the Director of Facility Operations in ensuring a seamless transition into full-time use. SOP & Policy Development: Create, document, and implement SOPs and policies for facility operations (access, cleaning, equipment use, emergency response, sustainability practices, etc.). Build playbooks for recurring scenarios (daily operations, major events, inclement weather, outages). Ensure policies align with U.S. Soccer standards and regulatory requirements. Facility Operations & Asset Management: Oversee day-to-day operations of NTC facilities including offices, meeting spaces, high-performance areas, and shared amenities. Manage preventative maintenance schedules and coordinate with vendors on service delivery. Track and manage warranties, contracts, and vendor accountability. Maintain asset inventories and plan for long-term upkeep and replacements. Cross-Department Coordination: Act as the central operations liaison, ensuring Hospitality, Programming, Security, IT, and High Performance teams have the physical and operational support needed. Provide responsive support for events, training camps, and daily HQ activity. Partner with Finance to support budget tracking and cost forecasting for facility operations. Risk, Safety & Compliance: Ensure facilities comply with OSHA, ADA, fire, and local regulatory requirements. Maintain emergency response procedures, evacuation plans, and staff training materials. Partner with Security and Medical teams to ensure a safe environment for staff, athletes, and visitors. Other: Additional duties as assigned by the Director of Facility Operations. Requirements

Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. 5+ years in facility operations or building services, ideally in a high-performance or campus environment. Strong track record of developing SOPs, policies, and operational systems. Experience managing vendor contracts and day-to-day facility services. Excellent organizational and communication skills; able to work across multiple groups. Ability to adapt to a dynamic environment and balance multiple priorities. Capable of working in fast-paced and demanding environments. Must be able to connect “micro” details to the “macro” vision and mission. Proficient experience with Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook). Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Desired Qualifications Experience in sports, higher education, or complex multi-use facilities. Familiarity with CMMS, BMS, or work-order tracking platforms. Knowledge of building systems and operational best practices. Relevant certifications (IFMA CFM, OSHA safety training, or similar). Passion for soccer and alignment with U.S. Soccer’s mission.
