Supplier Quality Engineer, PCBs & Electronics – Anduril Industries. Anduril is a defense technology company focused on transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities with cutting-edge technology. This role focuses on defining, developing, and executing processes that deliver high quality, reliable, precision mechanical parts and sub-assemblies used in our aerial drone products and core technology. The right candidate will collaborate with design teams and suppliers to meet quality requirements early in the development process and drive world-class supplier quality results across the supply chain. What You’ll Do

Partner with design teams to support the design development process, provide design for manufacturability feedback, and generate product data (CAD features, drawings details, BOM information, and part & material requirements) for supplier quality success. Drive supplier quality development through the product development stages with engineering teams, including design reviews, supplier process assessment, prototyping, and qualification for precision mechanical parts and sub-assemblies. Review supplier processes, equipment, and capabilities to ensure alignment with mechanical and sub-assembly requirements (metals, plastics, composites, additive manufacturing). Collaborate with development engineering, product quality engineering, sourcing engineering, category management, and program management to deliver predictable supply, manage exceptions/containments/deviations, and monitor supplier technical performance during development. Drive supplier quality readiness by analyzing key and critical characteristics for drawings and supplier specifications; develop measurement systems and qualification activities (capability analysis, PPAP, FAIR, audits, inspection development, etc.). Partner with Category Management and Sourcing Engineering to improve supplier performance in cost, quality, delivery, and fulfillment of strategic goals. Own the elimination of supplier risk to improve quality and reliability across the product lifecycle; utilize audits, readiness reviews, and training/documentation to ensure compliance. Support root cause and corrective action (RCCA) and Material Review Board (MRB) activities, own containments, drive resolution of fitment issues, and lead supplier corrective action and response (SCAR) processes. Audit production and Quality Management System at suppliers, define and improve required documentation and activities to ensure compliance with flow-down requirements from customers and internal design requirements. Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a similar technical field, or 5 to 8 years of equivalent experience. Experience in Supplier Quality Engineering, supplier process development, or Manufacturing Engineering for precision part manufacturing and mechanical sub-assemblies. Working knowledge of design reviews and supplier quality management for PCBA, harnesses, mechanical structures, systems integration, power, radar, vision/optical systems, networking, and remote management. Experience flowing down Source Control requirements and performing source inspection at electrical manufacturing suppliers; aerospace/defense supplier experience is a plus. Electrical (PCBA) standards knowledge: IPC, J-STD, ESD, and related IPC guidelines listed in the original posting. Electrical (Harness) standards knowledge: IPC-WHMA-A-620, IPC-D-620, IPC-2615. Working knowledge of AS9100/ISO 9001 QMS requirements; AS9100 Lead/Internal Auditor certification is a plus. Experience with First Article Inspection to AS9102 and ensuring suppliers have control plans and capable inspection processes. Experience driving supplier performance, SOW/quality clauses, IP considerations, and ITAR/government regulations. Knowledge of product development methodologies (FMEA, APQP, PPAP elements like MSA, GD&T) and quality improvement techniques. Strong ownership mindset with ability to drive projects from start to completion; analytical skills for data mining, metrics, and statistical analysis tools (e.g., MATLAB, JMP, MiniTab). Ability to obtain and hold a U.S. TS/SCI security clearance and travel up to 50% of the time to suppliers, sourcing partners, and manufacturing locations. Preferred Qualifications

Experience creating material and process specs for mechanical parts and sub-assemblies; machine qualification and automated inspection development. PFMEA experience and developing source inspection plans and process capabilities. Experience with government contracts and MIL standards. Experience with Teamcenter, SolidWorks, Oracle/NetSuite, Jira, Tableau, and Foundry. Salary and Benefits

US Salary Range: $113,000 – $134,000 USD Healthcare Benefits: Anduril offers comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans; regional variations apply.
