Job Summary
The Residential HVAC Coordinator plans, coordinates and monitors the activities of the Service Technicians and Installers to ensure customer’s service needs are met promptly and satisfactorily; communicates with customers and employees with professionalism; tracks work status for service agreements, time and material and service projects; and processes reports including reconciliations of all finished work. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Takes incoming customer calls Schedules and coordinates all service calls; dispatches Service Technicians; manages contingency plans Maintenance filter ordering Scheduling maintenance agreement work orders Providing quotes on repairs Serves as customer point of contact Forecasts workload Work order part ordering Creating purchase orders for work orders Ordering parts for repairs Receiving parts for repairs Creating customer numbers (AR customers) (SM customers) Creating work orders for maintenance and service calls Creating purchase orders for equipment Ordering equipment Receiving equipment Tagging equipment Scheduling install calendar events Assisting the Estimators with take offs, register counts, PDF mechanical plans, processing change orders Filing/scanning/copying Helping project manage the job Other duties as assigned Conducts customer surveys Coordinates safety and other training for department Essential Qualifications
HS Diploma or equivalent Computer literacy in office programs (Word and Excel) Ability to effectively communicate with clients and staff Strong attention to detail and organization Demonstrated customer service skills Ability to keyboard at 60 WPM Some experience/knowledge of HVAC systems ADA Specifications
There is frequent sitting at stationary position and work station. Manual dexterity required for computer and programming work. There is occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs. Work performed in an office environment with moderate noise level. Reasonable accommodations will be made available. Seniority level
