i2 Group, a global leader in data analysis and visualisation software, is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to manage the company’s contractual portfolio, ensure compliance across multiple jurisdictions, and support commercial strategy through efficient and scalable legal processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing contracts while driving process optimisation, legal technology adoption, and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, DPAs, and customer contracts.
Provide legal support for government bids, tenders, procurement, and R&D projects.
Ensure compliance with sanctions, audit queries, and regulatory requirements.
Lead continuous improvement of the legal function to align with business objectives and enable scalable, efficient delivery.
Develop modular contract frameworks to streamline complex, multi-jurisdictional engagements across the world.
Implement and manage contract lifecycle systems, including Salesforce, Conga Composer, and DocuSign integrations.
Map and refine contracting processes to remove bottlenecks and introduce automation and workflow solutions.
Strengthen protections around intellectual property, data privacy, and compliance obligations, and embed risk management across the organization.
Collaborate with sales, product, and operations teams to embed legal considerations into commercial strategy, provide “talk‑tracks” and guidance to support the sales team in customer negotiations, and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Maintain a central repository of legal templates, policies, and SOPs, and deliver training and guidance to non‑legal teams.
Qualifications
Relevant legal experience desirable.
Proven experience in contract management, commercial law, and legal operations, preferably within a technology or software company.
Experience working remotely and independently.
Experience negotiating Public‑sector agreements.
Strong understanding of contract lifecycle management systems and legal technology tools (e.g., Salesforce, CLM, DocuSign).
Demonstrated ability to optimize legal processes, implement automation, and deliver scalable solutions.
Solid knowledge of global data protection (US, EU, UK, APAC), intellectual property, and public sector procurement frameworks.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal issues in commercial terms.
Proactive problem‑solver able to take ownership and drive to a solution, with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
Salary Our salary expectation is around $55-61,000 USD.
