Overview
Co‑op Supplier Quality Engineering – join Brunswick Corporation, a global marine leader committed to innovation.
Location: Fond du Lac, WI.
Responsibilities
Communicate Mercury PPAP requirements to suppliers.
Evaluate supplier performance through audits, sorting, and corrective plan development.
Mitigate risk with proactive analysis of manufacturing processes and systems.
Collaborate with engineering and procurement during new product development to identify supplier sources and technical competency requirements.
Use quality tools and techniques to drive continuous improvement.
Learning & Development
Gain confidence influencing business situations.
Act as liaison across the organization while driving execution within the global supply base.
Qualifications
Current enrollment in a B.S. program majoring in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
Sophomore status (second semester or higher) with 48 completed credits.
Availability to work full time (40+ hours per week) during a full co‑op term January–August 2025 or June–December 2025.
Enrollment in a formalized co‑op program through your college or university.
Permanent U.S. work authorization required.
Working Conditions
Learning opportunities: work with experienced professionals and apply academic knowledge to real tasks.
Project work: support specific projects or tasks contributing to organizational goals.
Hours: full‑time 40‑hour work week.
Feedback and performance reviews throughout the assignment.
Pay Expected hourly rate $18.00 – $27.00. Actual rate depends on year in school, credits earned, degree, job‑related knowledge/skills, business needs, and geographic location.
