has been engaged by a highly successful and long-established family office that is seeking a seasoned tax professional to join its accomplished tax team. The group manages the complex tax needs of high-net-worth individuals, trusts, foundations, partnerships, and family investment entities. With a reputation for stability, sophistication, and discretion, the firm is known for hiring professionals with exceptional pedigree, academic excellence, and a strong sense of intellectual curiosity. About the Role As a senior member of the family office tax team, you will be directly involved in all aspects of tax compliance, planning, and reporting for family members, trusts, private foundations, and affiliated investment entities. You will collaborate with top-tier public accounting firms, external counsel, and internal teams, while gaining exposure to a wide variety of sophisticated structures. Key responsibilities include: Leading compliance processes for high-net-worth individuals, trusts, foundations, partnerships, and corporations Preparing and reviewing complex tax workpapers, estimates, and returns in coordination with external tax providers Supporting responses to audits and inquiries from federal and state taxing authorities Utilizing proprietary allocation and reporting technology to improve accuracy and efficiency in the tax process Advising internal departments on reporting obligations, transaction implications, and related tax matters Assisting with the preparation and review of tax provisions and supporting schedules for monthly family financial reporting Contributing to tax planning and structuring initiatives, including presentations for senior leadership Driving automation and process improvement initiatives in collaboration with the firm’s tax technology team Mentoring junior professionals and supporting their development Qualifications 7+ years of U.S. tax experience, with a focus on high-net-worth individuals, trusts, and foundations Strong background responding to notices and audits from taxing authorities Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field; CPA or path toward designation preferred Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong aptitude for learning new systems and software Excellent written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated analytical ability, intellectual curiosity, and meticulous attention to detail Commitment to the highest ethical standards and discretion required in a family office environment Base salary between
