The Lead Product Manager in Vivint Technology (VT) oversees a team of product managers. The product team is responsible for multiple product(s) and/or capabilities contained within Salesforce; this includes native features, custom-built solutions, and a hybrid of both, integrated into a seamless experience for users. You will define the strategic direction, drive innovation, and ensure our products deliver exceptional user experiences. You will manage high-impact projects, lead cross-functional teams, resolve complex challenges, and work closely with product leadership to align product strategies with the company’s long-term objectives. This role requires Salesforce platform expertise, user-centric product thinking, and strong leadership with the ability to influence across departments to deliver innovative and user-centric products and experiences. You should bring a product vision that looks beyond out-of-the-box Salesforce, identifying creative and scalable ways to meet user needs through customization, integration, or alternative tools.

Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership: Envision enhanced user experiences beyond Salesforce today, leveraging external tools or custom development when appropriate; align product strategy with business objectives; define and communicate the product vision and roadmap; develop and execute roadmaps across departments.

Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing product management team; foster innovation and accountability; facilitate cross-team collaboration and effective communication; conduct performance reviews.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, design, marketing, and business stakeholders; serve as primary product management liaison to other departments; coordinate with UX/UI to ensure a user-centric approach.

Product Development: Oversee the full product lifecycle from ideation to launch; gather and prioritize requirements; guide PMs to create detailed specifications.

Product Lifecycle Management: Plan, develop, launch, and retire products; monitor post-launch performance and drive data-driven iterations; ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Performance Monitoring: Define KPIs and metrics; analyze product data to identify trends and opportunities; present performance insights to stakeholders.

Stakeholder Engagement: Build relationships with product and engineering leadership, customers, and partners; conduct regular meetings, demos, and workshops to align on priorities.

Performance Management: Implement continuous improvement in product management practices; set clear objectives for the team; address performance issues and develop talent.

Defining Product Roadmap and Vision: Articulate a clear product vision; conduct market research and customer interviews; stay current with Salesforce roadmap; iterate the vision based on feedback.

Skills and Capabilities: Leadership, strategic vision, expertise in product management and user analysis, exceptional communication and organization; ability to influence senior stakeholders and think beyond Salesforce through integrations or alternate platforms.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma required.

Minimum Requirements:

5-10 years of product management experience, including at least 2 years working directly with Salesforce products.

Experience managing other Product Managers (varying levels from entry to senior).

Experience leading teams and driving product strategy; delivering user-facing features within Salesforce and connected experiences across platforms.

Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders; excellent communication and organizational skills.
