Materials Supervisor
to join their team in Iberia, Ohio. Yizumi-HPM Corporation sells and manufactures injection molding machines and die casting machines based upon the HPM designs but utilizing the engineering, manufacturing, and financial strengths of YIZUMI. What we can offer YOU: Vision Insurance Health Insurance Life Insurance 401k Paid time off Schedule: In office Monday to Friday 8 AM – 5 PM The right candidate will have: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree preferred Ability and certification to operate a forklift Proficiency in the use of business operating software for sourcing, sales, and inventory management modules Quick Book experience is highly preferred Proficiency with Microsoft office products especially Excel and Word Lean Training and or APICS Certification is a plus Ability to use Solid Works, or AutoCAD is a plus Our Materials Supervisor will: Follow standard guidelines for Environmental and Safety and enforce relevant practices Provide professional supervision of assigned permanent and temporary staff Provide at least annual performance reviews for assigned permanent staff Ensure polite, professional, and efficient response to customer requests Create quotes, order acknowledgements, and sales orders Conduct supplier searches, negotiate terms, launch purchase orders, and follow up to receipt Ensure proper warehouse management processing of inventory items from receipt to stocking to shipping Ensure necessary paperwork and forms are accurately completed in a timely basis Ensure the Quick Book Business System is properly updated. Help to ensure that all employees are following inventory management policies Follow lean practices including 5S and FIFO inventory Develop layouts as required to ensure efficient use of the warehouse floor space Periodically run inventory reports by class and share with relevant responsible people Physically separate parts in the Iberia and Cheney facilities by product class Does this sound like the job for you?
