We are recruiting for the following position: Position: Substance Use Disorder Professional/Trainee - Adolescent Clinic

Hourly Rate: $26.22 - $31.50 Position Summary:

Our Behavioral Health department seeks a full-time Substance Use Disorder Professional or Trainee (SUDP/T) at our White Center, WA, Adolescent Clinic, and other sites such as the White Center Adult Clinic and Renacer Youth Treatment Center in Tukwila. Responsibilities include providing direct counseling services, conducting assessments, evaluations, and intakes for clients primarily diagnosed with chemical dependency, who may also have emerging mental health issues. Applicants should subscribe to the disease model of chemical dependency, emphasizing total abstinence for recovery. The role involves following organizational instructions and performing other duties as assigned. Our services follow a client-centered, integrated care model. Supervision towards licensure is provided. Incentive pay is available. Responsibilities:

Provide age-appropriate care based on patient needs Screen and evaluate individuals, referring as needed Offer individual and group counseling for clients dealing with drug problems and mental health issues Maintain records, reports, and surveys as required Adhere to professional standards, policies, and regulations, including WAC 388-805 and RCW Prepare progress reports and communicate with courts, families, and referral sources Conditions of Employment:

No history of substance misuse in the past three years and no misuse during employment Ability to write reports and communicate effectively Perform at least 40 face-to-face encounters weekly or 85 direct service hours Qualifications:

For Trainee: Completion of required coursework and practicum hours, current Trainee Registration with the State Department of Health Experience working with adolescents For Professional: Associate’s degree, SUDP license from Washington State Department of Health, at least three years relevant experience, and current First Aid, CPR, and HIV certifications Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required Benefits:
