My client, a global chemical manufacturing company is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Specialist to manage the spend of Labor Services. This position will be based in the company’s NA HQ in Houston.

Strategic Sourcing Specialist - Labor Services

This role manages sourcing for labor services and will include HVAC, electrical, industrial cleaning, fuel services, cooling towers, LDAR, and heat tracing—supporting $50-$100M in annual spend.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead RFQ activities and supplier negotiations across North America Develop and execute supplier agreements, extensions, and change orders Manage supplier claims, KPIs, and contract compliance Drive cost reduction and report sourcing savings by category Partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure quality, safety, and reliability

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field 5+ years’ experience in strategic sourcing, ideally within labor services Strong negotiation skills (labor rates experience preferred) Clear, concise communication with stakeholders Prior Olin experience a plus
