Position Details
Location: Intermountain Health – St. George Regional Hospital
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week
Pay Range: $38.77 – $59.82/hr (based on certifications and experience)
Sign-On Bonus: Up to $5,000 for eligible applicants

Training Opportunity: MRI Tech in Training applicants will be considered
Responsibilities
Verify patient identity and exam orders
Prepare patients and perform MRI scans per protocol
Demonstrate competency in cross-sectional anatomy and positioning
Critique images for quality and completeness
Complete studies efficiently while maintaining high standards of care
Collaborate with radiologists to select appropriate scanning techniques
Administer IV contrast under supervision as ordered
Operate MRI equipment and related systems to produce quality images
Manage image viewing, archiving, and manipulation
Maintain working knowledge of MRI systems and software
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification OR
ARRT(R) certification with at least 1 year of full-time MRI experience
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers
Preferred
Bachelor’s Degree in MRI or Advanced Radiologic Science
Physical Requirements
Ongoing ability to see and read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies
Frequent communication with patients and care teams; ability to hear alarms and needs quickly
Manual dexterity to manipulate complex and delicate equipment; frequent computer use
Ability to lift and transfer patients and move supplies and equipment
Ability to walk and assist with transporting patients; navigate crowded rooms
May be required to stand for extended periods
