Job Description
Full-Time, Night Shift Weekend option (Friday-Sunday) No call 100% inpatient Position includes trauma, emergency general surgery and surgical care of ICU patients APP will perform central lines, arterial lines, intubations, and chest tube insertions Team includes 11 physicians and 20 APPs
Qualifications
Master's Degree Required Must be board eligible or board certified ACNP, AGNP. FNP or PA certification required Critical Care experience is a plus Individual sought must have great attention to detail, be incredibly thorough and be able to keep up with the quick pace of assessment and documentation with a very critical patient population Ideal candidates are able to work autonomous, have strong critical thinking skills and a team oriented mindset

With 1,000 beds, IU Health Methodist Hospital is a large tertiary referral center with over 130 ICU beds. It serves as the largest trauma center in Indianapolis, as well as a highly subspecialized center for cardiovascular surgery, thoracic surgery, neurosurgery, lung transplantation, and neurocritical care.
IU Health is building a new downtown hospital and campus, which will consolidate operations of the adjacent IU Health Methodist and University Hospitals. Construction for the new hospital is well underway and set to open in late 2027. It will feature three 16-story towers with 864 beds.
