ERM (Emergency Medicine) is collaborating with a medical center in northwestern Louisiana with an opening for a skilled Emergency Medicine Physician to assist their team. Opening Details: Schedule: 6a-3p, 10a-8p, 3p-12a, or 8p-6a No call shifts Annual Volume: 34,000 patients Daily Volume: 93 patients Support Staff: Physicians, APPs, scribe, and backup specialties EMR: Meditech Expanse Must be board-certified or board-eligible Paid travel & expenses In your spare time, you can explore vibrant riverfront entertainment venues, try your luck at riverboat casinos, and enjoy Southern cuisine at renowned local eateries. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) National Institutes of Health (NIH) Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Active unencumbered Physician Louisiana state license Graduate from a fully accredited Physician program One year of work experience as Physician One year of EMR experience Board Certified SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills. Participates in relevant continuing education programs. Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients. Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise. A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital. Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks. Requirements:
