HCA Florida Fort Walton-Destin Hospital is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) for an Emergency Medicine opportunity in Fort Walton Beach, FL. Description: Specialization:
Emergency Medicine Qualified Candidates: Must be board certified NCCPA or AANP/ANCC. One year of ED experience as an APP. Must obtain ATLS within six months of starting. Incentives/Benefits: Flexible scheduling Full-Time position includes a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, and 401k. Facility Information: FWDH: 309-bed HCA level 2 trauma facility (expansion underway adding an additional 30 beds next year) Medical ICU- 33 beds (plus an additional 8 CVICU beds) Advanced navigation systems, including O arm and Mazor spine robot Certified primary stroke center working towards comprehensive stroke certification Hosting 3rd and 4th-year D.O. students from Auburn’s VCOM (D.O.) School Imminent IM residency program in 2024 Recognized among the top 10% in the nation by Healthgrades for cardiac surgery, joint replacement, and patient safety Ranked 4th in the nation for infection prevention by Consumer Reports Area’s only accredited Chest Pain Center, Primary Stroke Center, and cardiac program offering open heart surgery, Watchman, and TAVR The Greater Fort Walton Beach area is known for its family-friendly environment, situated between Pensacola and Panama City along Florida’s panhandle, known as the Emerald Coast. It boasts some of the most beautiful white sand beaches globally. Destin, a popular family vacation spot, offers world-class fishing, golf, shopping, dining, and beaches.
