Overview
Kentuckiana Animal Clinic, located in Owensboro, KY, is seeking to hire an Urgent Care Veterinarian (DVM) to join our team. This is a new position created to expand our service hours and meet the needs of the community. The role operates Monday through Friday with afternoon to evening hours, expanding beyond our current 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM schedule. This position offers a strong work/life balance with no on-call, no overnights, and no weekends. The cases seen will include non-critical emergencies such as skin lacerations, vomiting, limping, ear infections, and eye/skin issues. About Our Hospital Large hospital with an open-floor plan New full-body digital x-ray, ultrasound, and endoscope 4 exam rooms + comfort room Double surgery suite with state-of-the-art anesthesia machines Dental suite with 2 stations and digital dental radiography Pet Annual Wellness (PAW) Plans Family atmosphere Multi-doctor practice with emphasis on teamwork; cases are commonly shared among doctors to provide the best patient care Commitment to state-of-the-art medicine; doctors continuously seek new ways to practice Licensed technicians available to each doctor Busy practice with a wide variety of cases Continuing education and advanced training supported and encouraged
