RN Staff Nurse - Neurotrauma ICU

The NeuroTrauma ICU at Emanuel, remodeled in 2013, is a 24-bed unit covering 28,000 square feet, providing state-of-the-art care and high success rates. It admits patients as a Level One Trauma Center, a Comprehensive Stroke Center, and a respiratory failure & ECMO specialty center. We also care for a diverse medical-surgical critical care population, including COVID ICU patients since 2020. Our skilled critical care team works collaboratively with a multidisciplinary approach and offers opportunities for advanced training in Trauma Resuscitation, ECMO, Stroke Response, Critical Care Transport, and Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy. Responsibilities
Responsible for patient care within an assigned department/unit, working under the direction of the clinical manager or designee. The RN assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care according to established standards, including patient assessment and transfer procedures. Qualifications
Education:
As required by licensure. BSN or degree in progress is strongly preferred. BSN may be required for specific assignments; experienced RNs without a BSN may be hired based on clinical experience with site CNO approval. Experience:
One-year registered nursing experience or completion of the Legacy Health RN Residency program or equivalent. This NTICU position requires 2 years of general ICU experience or 1 year of trauma/neuro ICU experience. Knowledge/Skills:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; proficiency with electronic systems relevant to the role. Licensure:
Current applicable state RN license; AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers. Pay Range
