Qualifications
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA or eligibility to obtain
Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure in California
Experience working as an SLP or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in healthcare, pediatrics, teletherapy, or school settings
Familiarity with developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) preferred
Skills in utilizing Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices a plus
Primary Responsibilities
Conduct thorough evaluations of speech, language, and swallowing abilities to diagnose communication disorders
Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each students needs
Provide direct therapy through in-person and teletherapy modalities as appropriate
Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting interventions to optimize outcomes
Work collaboratively with educators, healthcare professionals, and families to support comprehensive care and academic success
