Clinical Psychologist – One‑Time Veteran Disability Exam
Matrix Providers is hiring a
Clinical Psychologist
to conduct a one‑time, non‑treatment Veteran Disability Exam located in
Lincoln, NE .
Role Overview Part‑time, Monday‑Wednesday, 8:00 am–4:00 pm. Hourly position paid bi‑weekly. Competitive financial package including 401(k) plan.
Responsibilities
Review veteran mental health history and administer a web‑based examination.
Capture responses electronically; complete all documentation electronically.
Submit completed exams to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs for disability award determinations.
Common assessment reasons: PTSD, depression, anxiety, eating disorders.
Qualifications – Minimum
Licensed psychologist or psychiatrist in at least one U.S. state.
Psychiatrists or neurologists board certified or completed a 2‑year specialty residency.
Psychologists must hold a PhD or PsyD in Clinical, Counseling, or School Psychology; child‑focused programs not acceptable.
Graduate from a doctorate or post‑doctorate APA‑accredited program.
Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and EMR platforms.
Strong communication, critical thinking, and independent time‑management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in clinical settings.
Prior VA or C&P experience.
