ER Registered Nurse Details
Location: Monroe, Georgia 30655 (Atlanta metro area) Healthcare Setting: Emergency Department (ED) Employment Type: Travel nursing contract Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1570 - $1610 Start Date: October 20, 2025 End Date: January 12, 2026 Contract Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (19:00 - 07:00) Total Hours: 36 hours per week Patient Ratio: 1:4 Unit Size: 15-bed Emergency Room Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend Charting System: Epic EMR Qualifications
Active Georgia or Compact State RN license (must be current at time of application) Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC Proficiency with Epic charting system Preferred: Charge nurse experience, community hospital background, Trauma Level I or II experience Ability to float within facility and scope of practice as needed Two supervisory references (Manager or above) highly preferred Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care to neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients Perform triage, assessment, and management of acute and trauma cases in a fast-paced ER setting Administer blood products, IV vasopressors, and manage central lines Interpret arterial blood gases and cardiac dysrhythmias Provide care for neuro-trauma, orthopedic trauma, STEMI, stroke, and other critical emergencies Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including respiratory therapy, radiology, pharmacy, and social services Participate in self-scheduling and fulfill every other weekend shift requirements Maintain compliance with hospital policies and complete all required orientation modules Apply now
