Onward Search Education is a specialized education staffing and talent solutions company that helps educators, therapists, and school health professionals find top jobs with the nation's top schools. We’re partnering with a school district in Lake County, IL to hire dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for the 2025–2026 school year. This role is open to part-time or full-time schedules and provides services to students from preschool through 8th grade. Location: In-person, Lake County, IL Schedule: Part-time or full-time hours, between 7:50 AM – 4:00 PM School Year: 2025/2026 Role type:
School-Based SLP Responsibilities
Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students according to their IEPs Conduct assessments, progress monitoring, and evaluations to support student development Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement individualized therapy plans Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state regulations Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations Provide consultative support to classroom staff to integrate speech and language goals into the learning environment Qualifications
Licensed and/or certified Speech-Language Pathologist in Illinois IL Professional Educator License (PEL) Experience working in school-based settings preferred Strong knowledge of pediatric speech and language development from preschool through middle school Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to work with a diverse student population and adapt therapy to individual needs What We Offer
