Job Description & Requirements

Specialty: Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery

Duration: 13 weeks

Employment Type: Locum Tenens

Daily shifts 6am - 6pm with variable end time

2 - 6 patients seen per shift, with 1 - 3 admissions

Weekend coverage and call schedule 1:3

20-minute call response time required

First assist in OR and vein harvesting opportunities available

Skills include A-line, central line, thoracentesis, chest tube placement

Daily rounding with surgeon on assigned patients

New consult evaluations as needed
