Postdoctoral Research Associate - Condensed Matter Theory/ Computational Materials Science Join to apply for the Postdoctoral Research Associate role at Tulane University. A position for a Postdoctoral Associate is open in the research group of Prof. Adrienn Ruzsinszky with the earliest possible start date in 2025 in the area of Condensed Matter Theory/Computational Materials Science. Qualifications

Expertise in development and computational simulations using time dependent DFT and simulations using many-body approximations such as GW or BSE (and probably both) on bulk and layered materials. Background in excitons, exciton dynamics, and electron-phonon physics is ideal. Strong programming background in Python or Fortran. A strong publication record in journals such as Phys. Rev Lett., Phys. Rev. B, Nano Lett., or equivalent. PhD in Physics or Materials Science is required. A PhD in Theoretical Chemistry is acceptable only with substantial experience/publication record in Condensed Matter Physics/Materials Science. No Engineering PhD other than Materials Science is accepted. Application Instructions
