Responsible for working to prevent, assess, diagnose and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication and swallowing disorders in adults. Provides aural rehabilitation for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing and provides augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems for individuals with severe expressive and/or language comprehension disorders. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Current, unencumbered license to practice speech pathology specific to the state you are assigned to work. Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) with completed graduate coursework and a clinical practicum in an accredited program (CAA). Current CPR certification. Preferred
One (1+) year of experience in speech pathology. Note: If the SLP - CCC certification has not been obtained, the candidate may be placed in the SLP Clinical Fellow (100910) role with required supervision and mentoring. What\u2019s In It For You
