The Production Manager is responsible for Pipe cutting, Vessel Fabrication, and Spool Fabrication. Responsibilities: Ensure all shop safety guidelines and procedures are being followed at all times Ensure all employees are wearing proper PPE at all times Manage and oversee the production schedule through all facets of fabrication. Work directly with fabricators in each department to ensure production standards and timelines are met. Act as a mentor to welders, to ensure that quality is consistently improving When required, facilitate the need for pipe fitting/welding, including self-perform if necessary Receive and deliver blueprints accordingly. Receive and review daily weld reports prior to submitting to Data Collection Review and approve timesheets for employees within fabrication Coordinate with Direct Report, as well as parallel supervisors to ensure overall schedule is on track. Ensure fabrication employees scheduled work hours are adhered to, including start time, lunch breaks, and quitting time Physical Requirements: Frequent walking and climbing (stairs, ladders, terrain) Frequent lifting (up to and including 50 pounds) Frequent bending, twisting and standing Exposure to working outdoors in all-weather conditions Ability to work more than 40 hours in any given week including weekend assignments as required The individual must also be able to wear and properly utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to work or visit within areas where it is required. This includes: hard hat, safety glasses, reflective vest, ear plugs, steel toed shoes, or other protective equipment as required by the location Experience: 3-5 years of fabrication or related experience Skills: Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates Ability to use hand tools, power tools, machines, equipment Ability to learn and gain knowledge Ability to follow work orders or receive instructions Ability to adhere to Safety policies and procedures Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required Licenses or Certifications: OSHA 10 Certification Preferred EEO: Mid Atlantic Fabrication LLC (Mid Atlantic) is an Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability and protected veteran status.
