Entry-Level Structural Engineer – Safety Team

Annual Compensation $65,000‑80,000
based on experience, certifications, and regional market standards.

Essential Functions
Design complex fall‑protection systems using fundamental structural engineering principles.
Visit client sites to gather data and identify safety issues requiring engineered solutions.
Interact with clients to determine needs and next steps for projects.
Access locations at height, climb ladders/scaffolding, and use personal fall protection systems while wearing additional personal protective equipment as required.
Document structural systems in existing industrial, commercial, and institutional facilities.
Maintain technical knowledge through training initiatives, including seminars, professional publications, and in‑house systems/management training.
Additional Responsibilities
Travel to client locations across the United States; overnight stays as needed.
Analyze situations and identify ways to improve efficiency.
React quickly and calmly to high‑pressure situations.
Work independently and collaboratively in team settings.
Understand and train in OSHA/ANSI fall protection standards.
Pass background checks, drug tests, and motor vehicle record checks.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Education – Essential Credentials
Bachelor’s degree in civil or architectural engineering with structural emphasis required.
Professional Engineer (PE) license within four years desired.
Qualifications
No experience required; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
CAD experience (Revit and Bluebeam preferred); STRAP or other structural analysis software preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
